Outside Vietnam, the Vietnamese cuisine is very popular in countries like the United States,Australia, France and Canada which are strongly infiltrated with the Vietnamese communities.  Dishes responsible for the popularity of Vietnamese food recipes are Goi Cuon ( summer/spring rolls).

The Vietnamese sandwich, sometimes called a "bánh mì" sandwich, is a product of French colonialism in Indochina, combining ingredients from the French (baguettes, pâté  and mayonnaise) with native Vietnamese ingredients such as sliced pork, chả lụa, headchese and along with the liver pâté  and vegetables.

Grilled pork (often shredded) and cold vermicelli noodles over a bed of greens (salad and sliced cucumber), herbs and carrots. Also often includes a few chopped up egg rolls, green oiled onions, and fried onion. Served with roasted peanuts on top and a small bowl of fish sauce.
